Christie joined the founding D10X team in 2016 as an Entrepreneur in Residence. She coaches internal startup teams within Citi to move from concept to build to launch and leads the development of the curriculum for the program.

Christie is an award-winning science journalist and tech entrepreneur. She founded the publishing startup Publet which is now in use by some of the world’s best open-source developers. An early pioneer in podcasting, she scaled a weekly audio series at Scientific American magazine, reaching 1.5M users in one year. She is also an adj professor at New York University where she designed and teaches a six-week course in startup entrepreneurship.

Christie sits on the advisory board for SXSW Interactive and the curatorial board for PopTech, and is an alum of AnglePad. Christie holds degrees from Dalhousie University in Canada and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism where she was awarded the Eibel Fellowship. A passionate futurist, Christie is looking beyond trends in AI and blockchain to contemplate the social and economic upheaval that will likely occur with nanofabrication. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.
