Jesse joined Citi Ventures in 2018 from Citi’s FinTech unit where he led Ecosystem Development and Engagement. He is responsible for managing strategic growth opportunities related to Citi's TTS and Markets business units, and experimenting with key internal and external stakeholders on emerging D10X opportunities.
Before joining Citi, Jesse was Managing Director of Startupbootcamp Fintech, a leading global fintech accelerator. Jesse co-founded TechDay, the world’s largest startup event series, and DevShop, a startup studio, both of which were acquired by larger players. Jesse's spent 13 years in institutional sales and trading, including leading distressed equity trading at Jefferies & Co and as Co-Head of Special Situations Equity Trading at Susquehanna International Group.
Jesse is a founding board member of Hannah Banana Foundation, a non-profit that provides therapeutic gifts to terminally and chronically ill patients while they are in medical care. He is a University of Florida graduate and struggling Mets and Knicks fan. He and his wife Rachel can be found at farmers' markets and parks across Manhattan with their two fourth generation New Yorker daughters.
