Tom is responsible for driving the launch of internal startups, establishing a repeatable delivery capacity, connecting the program with internal functions, establishing a shared services resource, co-creating go-to market strategies, and developing the framework for a formal talent program with the respective lines of business.
Prior to Citi Ventures, Tom led the transformation of Citi’s N.A Mobile App from a basic banking credit card and companion app to a robust, feature-rich servicing hub. Most recently, Tom launched a Citi Ventures backed mobile messaging tool. The first of its kind at Citi, this tool enables Marketing and Servicing teams to target mobile-only customers with contextually relevant content. Before joining Citi in 2015, Tom spent 15 years at American Express in various digital roles and locations, including the U.K, Florida and New York.
Originally born and raised in Brighton, England, Tom now resides on the Upper West Side in NYC with his partner and 2 dogs. When he’s not working, Tom is most likely to be found in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes inspired by his travel around the world.
